FM 93 Introduction: FM-93 network is the largest FM network in the country. From the heights of Trichmir in Chitral to the shores of Arabian Sea at Gwadar and Karachi‚ through the plains and deserts of Punjab and Sindh‚ there are 22 stations radiating programmers on FM-93 network. The 22 stations of FM-93 network are as under:
“Abbottabad‚ Bannu‚ Bhit Shah‚ Chitral‚ Dera Ismail Khan‚ Faisalabad‚ Gilgit‚ Gwadar‚ Hyderabad‚ Islamabad‚ Karachi‚ Khairpur‚ Kohat‚ Lahore‚ Larkana‚ Mianwali‚ Mirpur‚ Mithi‚ Multan‚ Muzaffarabad‚ Rawalpindi and Sargodha”.
The FM-93 Stations broadcast a variety of programmes consisting all formats including music‚ talks‚ interviews‚ documentaries‚ features‚ special audience programmes for women‚ children‚ youth‚ students‚ laborers‚ farmers‚ forces‚ literature and on religion. The main thrust of these programmes is Community Broadcast. For this purpose stations involves their respective listeners in the programmes through a number of methods‚ including phone in calls‚ letters‚ emails and outdoor recording. These stations are broadcasting in 23 local and regional languages of Pakistan.
